The skin achieves balance which results in a cleaner complexion and improved skin tone and color.  Also it helps in reduction in wrinkles due to dehydration, reduces puffy skin and helps with acne prone complexions.Next, we apply treatment solutions in up to five separate applications with the use of various  "vortex-fusion" tips.  This in itself is what makes the treatment unique, pain-free and requires no down time.The tips allow for a simultaneous "vortex-fusion" of skin specific solutions during the treatment process.  The solutions are brought out of the tip through occlusion.  The grooves in the tips from the spiral design allow for multiple passes over the skin resulting in a more even exfoliation; and using vacuum based technology, is able to lift away impurities and dead cells.

The treatment solutions include the following:A.  Cleaning and exfoliation.....cleanses deeply with a base of glucosamine, lactic and urea.B.  Resurfacing step.......applies a peel prep of glycolic/salicylic acid blendC.  Pain free extractions are performed through suction method backed by a salicylic/honey prepD. The "Dermabuilder" (optional) is applied for fine lines and wrinkles.  This topical filler is loaded with peptides which will smooth lines and wrinkles and enhance skin elasticity.E. The whole procedure ends with LED light therapy in a red or blue light. The red light helps the appearance of redness or irritation and signs of aging.  There are 24 LED lights in the hand piece. 12 of 624 nanometers and 12 of 880 nanometers.  The blue light improves the appearance of oily or congested skin with 20 LED lights at 420 nanometers.

Why Winter Hydration is Important

Feel that chill in the air? Winter is well on its way. And while many of us look forward to sweater weather with relish, you wouldn’t know it by looking at our skin. Between the icy outdoor air and the desiccating indoor heat, it’s no surprise that the biggest beauty gripe of the season is dry skin. However, what most see as a minor inconvenience could hold serious consequences for your complexion years down the road. In the fight against premature aging, winter hydration is just as important as summer sun protection.

While the cold alone isn’t enough to signal a four-star beauty alarm, the drop in humidity compounded with around-the-clock heating are solid clues that its time to step up your skin care regimen. To keep your home cool in the summer and toasty in the winter, your air conditioner dehumidifies the air to control the climate. While this saves you from constantly bundling up when it’s cold outside, it also throws your skin into a state of panic.

Like a sponge, your skin absorbs moisture from the environment to keep its cells healthy and functioning. It also creates a lipid (fatty) barrier to maintain optimal moisture levels even when the humidity fluctuates, like during the winter. Between this lipid barrier and sebum—natural oils secreted by the sebaceous glands—the skin helps combat trans-epidermal water loss, or TEWL. If these natural defenses are compromised, the skin’s cells can quickly lose vital moisture, dry out and die. Over time, dead cells can build up, creating a dull appearance and blocking topical ingredients from reaching the healthy cells below.

What threatens the skin’s natural defenses? Anything that strips its lipid and sebum barrier leaves skin vulnerable to dehydration. Ok Ladies, what if I told you that you can achieve the look of longer, darker, thicker lashes without even wearing mascara?  It's true, lash tinting has been around for quite a while but surprisingly most people don't even know it exists.  We use a vegetable based dye, so it's not harmful to the eye or skin around it.  We protect the skin with a barrier and apply the tint to your lashes.  The dye only colors the existing hairs.  The dye processes for 10 minutes and after we rinse it off, your lashes look as though you've just applied mascara.  There are different shades available, however the most popular is deep black. 

Now onto the brows.  Eyebrows are the key to shaping your face.  A well shaped brow can define your whole face, as well as give you a more youthful appearance.  A brow tint can work for everyone.  It is especially good for the mature woman who is starting to lose her eyebrows.  The same vegetable based dye is matched to your hair color and applied to your brows and allowed to process.  The dye picks up on the soft hairs to create the illusion of the thicker brow.  When taken off it gives you an eye opening result that looks like you just had a mini face lift!  For all you light haired ladies, the results are even more dramatic as it makes a huge difference if your hair is naturally light.  Both the eyebrow and eyelash tinting will last 4 to 6 weeks.
